Alexa Eldridge

CYC (cert.)

Alexa grew up in Sarnia and spent her childhood with family and friends. Alexa has always been curious about why we do the things we do. With that, she went to Lambton College for Child and Youth Care (CYC) to learn more and with the hopes of becoming a counsellor. Alexa is now a registered member of the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care and has graduated with an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Care.

Alexa has been passionate about learning about trauma, being curious and caring which ultimately led her to working at Life’s Seasons Care & Support. Her philosophy of care is that not only does everyone matter, but each person also deserves support to meet their own individual needs. As a Child and Youth Care Practitioner, she values these needs and will develop care and support that will meet those needs the best she can.

Outside of her professional role, Alexa enjoys spending time outdoors, going on hikes, swimming at the beach and DJing. She values her personal time just as much as her work and makes an effort to balance both.
