Jim Miner

Executive Director

CALE

Along with his wife Annette Miner and daughter Tina Hunter, Jim co-founded Life’s Seasons in 2012. Since that time, Jim has dedicated much time and effort to the agency as Executive Director in a volunteer capacity.  Jim was responsible for firstly establishing Life’s Seasons as a Canadian incorporated business, then completing the Canada Revenue registration as a non-profit charity.  In 2021, Life’s Seasons became one of three nominee finalists the Sarnia Chamber of Commerce recognized with their Outstanding Business Achievement Award in the Non-profit of the year category.

Prior to the inception of Life’s Seasons, Jim held a career spanning over thirty years in the Agriculture Equipment field.  Jim started this career on the floor as a Service Technician, advancing into Parts Marketing, Service Management, Sales, and several years in Sales Management before retiring from the field.

To help financially support Life’s Seasons, Jim has held positions with Teen Challenge Farm as Field Representative and Marketing within their Vehicle Donation Department, later at Ethyl Canada Security in shipping and receiving (T.D.G) and is currently involved in Vehicle Wholesale.

When Jim is not working, he enjoys downtime at his trailer and riding Marley, his motorcycle.

Jim has endeavoured to base his life journey according to a quotation from Bill Johnson “From every point of adversity a door of opportunity is opened. The threshold of this door can only be crossed with a humble stride”.
